O present work for the purpose of using two small grids for the purification of crude glycerin obtained from biodiesel production. Or purification method, to adsorption by ionic troca resins we see receiving large oil for its simplicity and low custody. Initially, crude glycerin is subjected to a pre-purification process, by filtration, phosphoric acid treatment and heat treatment, followed by pre-purified glycerin passes through the purification process by the adsorption method, using as adsorbing material The orange grids are properly prepared as hydroxylated resin (treated with base), cationic resin (treated with acid) and carbonized resin. Among the treatments carried out, we will see the orange, carbonization, which appears to be the best result for the elimination of cor of glycerin, or adsorption potential, should be investigated in the future by means of other techniques. The tests carried out demonstrate that the residues of the orange have an adsorptive capacity to be used in the purification of glycerin originating from biodiesel.
