PROPOSTA DE GESTÃO AMBIENTAL DE RESÍDUOS QUÍMICOS DOS LABORATÓRIOS EM UMA FACULDADE DE JABOTICABAL

Abstract

Environmental Management Systems (EMS) have been gaining prominence in the academic and commercial world due to concern for the environment, with the incorrect disposal of chemical waste from companies, industries, schools and universities. The implementation of this system requires knowledge of the area, with a study focused on the routine of the place and presentation of an EMS, aiming at the efficiency in the storage and disposal of materials and waste. This study aimed to analyze the actions taken regarding the storage and disposal of waste generated in the chemistry laboratories of Fatec Nilo de Stéfani - Jaboticabal. The main objective was to analyze the actions that are already being carried out in the laboratories and to propose control adaptations for the separation and disposal of waste. This system should also be personalized, practical and functional, considering and respecting the particularities and daily reality of the place.
