Abstract

In this work a mathematical equation that summarizes the sum of all the indicators present in the Normative Instruction CESU 3/2018 is obtained. In this instruction, the dynamics, parameters and methodology of evaluation of all the Centro Estadual de Educação Tecnológica Paula Souza´s ndergraduate Courses were defined. After this document was published, all undergraduate courses are semesterly evaluated and scored, through up to five distincts indicators, distributed among indicators of students admission, evasion and course conclusion. In order to solve the problem, each one of these indicators was treated separately, respecting its definitions, particularities and scores attributed and specified in the Normative Instruction. The sum of the indicators separates the undergraduate courses into three main groups, each of which is associated with a color: Green Courses meet the Ceeteps´  equirements. Yellow Courses meet only partially that requirements. Red Courses needs extreme attention because they are outside the specifications and requirements, according to such adopted methodology. Therefore, it is expected that such an equation may contribute to the better understanding and prevention of Courses non-attendance.
