This paper presents a mixed formulation of the Boundary Element Method with the Finite Element Method for analysis of soil-pile interaction in two dimensions. In this formulation the piles are modeled using the Finite Element Method as bar elements and the soil, through the Boundary Element Method, as a continuous material, linear-elastic, isotropic and homogeneous. It presents the soil and pile equations to vertical elements and, then, the combination of both, creating a single system of equations. The changes needed for a system composed by inclined piles are also presented. After resolution of the final system, the displacements and strains of soil-pile contact are obtained. An example is presented and solved based on the formulation proposed here, allowing to compare the results with models proposed by other authors.
